Earlier this month, we took a look at some of what’s new in the 2021 Toyota Camry. We focused mostly on the enhancements to safety since the new Camry will be the first model to introduce the Safety Sense 2.5+ suite of advanced driver-assistive technologies. But safety isn’t the only thing that’s undergone changes for this mid-generation facelift, so today we wanted to focus on some of the enhancements & upgrades that have been made to the sedan’s design.

Redesigned Front Fascia
The first thing you’ll probably notice about the refreshed 2021 Toyota Camry’s design is its bold new front end. For the LE and XLE grades, which are oriented more towards comfort vehicles than their sportier counterparts, the SE and XSE trims, the front fascia presents a lower intake area with more definition than previous iterations. In addition, the LE grade features new 17” alloy wheels while the XLE trim adopts reimagined 18” alloy wheels.
For those sportier SE and XSE trim levels, the shape of the lower fascia has been redesigned and now includes a honeycomb-style grille with side vent inserts and new accents.
Exterior Color Options
In addition to the redesigned front fascia, the exterior color options have been shaken up as well. Out is the old Blue Streak Metallic, being replaced by the new Blueprint option. Additionally, the 2021 Toyota Camry TRD introduces a new color available exclusively on that trim level. It’s called Ice Edge and features a two-tone Midnight Black Metallic roof. Finally, the XSE trim level is now available in the two-tone Supersonic Red with Midnight Black Metallic roof exterior color option.
