2021 Toyota Supra Interior Engine Bay

For the 2021 model year, there are two different powertrains available to Toyota Supra shoppers. The 3.0L turbocharged V6 engine that was beneath the hood of the Supra when it made its debut returns, capable of generating 382 horsepower alongside 368 pound-feet of torque. But this year, that engine is joined by a second option, a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. While a bit more efficient than its counterpart, it won’t be able to generate the same kind of power. Instead, it has a maximum output of 255 hp and 295 lb-ft. of torque. Those are still impressive numbers, but certainly not quite as so as the larger option.

Performance Times

The new, smaller engine option is still pretty quick though. It’s capable of accelerating from 0-60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds flat, before continuing onto a top speed of 155 mph. The more powerful option, however, is much quicker. It can, instead, get from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 s. It has the same top speed, however, as both engines are electrically controlled.
