Toyota has been a pioneer of the electrification game for decades now. They were the first company to introduce a mass-produced hybrid vehicle when the Toyota Prius made its debut almost 25 years ago, and they’ve been revolutionizing the practice ever since. Over the past couple of years, that innovation has ramped up. The Toyota Sienna is now a hybrid-only vehicle, as is the returning Toyota Venza. And now, Toyota has announced its plans to introduce three new electrified vehicles for the U.S. market this year, including two Battery Electric Vehicles and a plug-in hybrid.
