What is WarnerMedia RIDE and is it available on your Toyota vehicle?

WarnerMedia RIDE is a new app on smartphones and other compatible devices, and Toyota Motor North America has recently teamed up with AT&T to enable use of this new feature with some of their vehicles. Essentially, if you own a Toyota or Lexus vehicle with an AT&T in-car Wi-Fi plan, up to five of these compatible devices will be able to connect to that wi-fi and then utilize WarnerMedia RIDE. WarnerMedia RIDE App Interface

WarnerMedia RIDE provides a carousel of content, both live and on-demand, such as television shows, films, sports, news and so much more. Thousands of hours of programming, including content from name brands such as Cartoon Network, CNN, HBO Max and even TruTV can be viewed on these compatible devices whenever connected to the AT&T in-car wi-fi system, even when you’re on the road 100 miles from home!

This new capability takes rear-seat entertainment to the next level. All you need is a Toyota or Lexus vehicle with the capability to provide a wi-fi hotspot and a wi-fi data plan through the vehicle. If your vehicle is 2020 or newer, you might even be eligible for a 90-day trial, which you can activate on your smart device through the owners’ app. Of course, you’ll also need a compatible device with the app installed, which is available in the App Store for iOS 11+ or within Google Play for Android 9+.
